Born in Sacramento, California, I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Two-Dimensional Art Studio from California State University, Sacramento. Showing my work professionally in Sacramento galleries and establishments since 2003, I have been an artist since I could hold a brush.

My influences include that of the lineage of Wayne Thiebaud through the teachings of Jack Ogden (Sacramento Artist & Emeritus Professor, Sac State), and the work of Vincent Van Gogh.

With a goal of making art accessible to anyone who has an interest and a focus on teaching the fundamentals of Two-Dimensional Fine Art Technique (Painting, Drawing, Color), I teach artists of all ages in private art lessons for individuals & small groups, classes, workshops and intensives out of my studio, 4311 Attawa Ave.

Art-o-Mat: The Growing Trend of truly amazing art anyone can afford... Interviewed by P.K. Costa

Talented Sacramento, California artist, Michelle Cordova, has been with Art-o-Mat for several years; the art she submits is inspired by where she lives such as paintings of the Delta landscape and wetlands. Cordova said some of the best compliments received are from fans who write to tell her about her art or how excited they are when they discover it is of such high quality. Fans can find information about the artist included with each piece of art purchased in an Art-o-Mat vending machine. Cordova said as long as her art, "brightens someone's day," it has done what it was intended to do. For fans following Cordova's colorful work, her next series will include still lifes such as flowers and fruit that are as stunning as her landscapes. Fans can visit her website and contact her there for more information regarding upcoming shows.
