Bio...

Born in Sacramento, California, I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Two-Dimensional Art Studio from California State University, Sacramento. Showing my work professionally in Sacramento galleries and establishments since 2003, I have been an artist since I could hold a brush.

My influences include that of the lineage of Wayne Thiebaud through the teachings of Jack Ogden (Sacramento Artist & Emeritus Professor, Sac State), and the work of Vincent Van Gogh.

With a goal of making art accessible to artists of all ages & skill levels, and a focus on teaching the fundamentals of Two-Dimensional Fine Art Technique (Painting, Drawing, Color), I've taught private art lessons, classes, and workshops for almost two decades. Currently, I work for the Sacramento State Art Department.
