Charmaine Morrison Writes:
You were highly recommended from my good friend, and I knew you'd be great! I appreciate your quick responses and flexibility, and I love how you connect with the kids. You are very encouraging and positive. You also have a relaxed way about you that makes the experience of taking art lessons with you light and fun. The virtual format worked great, and all in all, it was a really wonderful experience. After working with you, the kids are more confident using various materials, especially ink. The kids also say they are more comfortable breaking complex pictures down into simple shapes and are better making pictures three dimensional using the art techniques they experienced in their lessons with you. I really like how you ask the kids their interests and follow through with projects to match what they've expressed. You are kind, personable, communicative, and an attentive teacher, and I think you are excellent at teaching and relating to kids. I love that you share your passion for art with my kids. I would recommend you to any of my friends.

Lori Ward writes on behalf of her mom, Carol Cottrell:
Mom loves how patient, easy-going, positive, and supportive you are in your teaching. I signed mom up for lessons with you because I knew you'd be a kind and patient teacher and not let her give up, and judge herself too harshly, something she struggles with. I feel that Mom is more likely to take risks in her art, thanks to her lessons with you. You are not only a talented artist, but a talented teacher. You are welcoming, positive, patient, supportive, and gear your lessons to your individual students’ needs. I have recommended you to my students and would recommend you to anyone.

Michelle is a gifted and engaging art instructor who inspires her students to create and explore. Our daughter has taken several of Michelle’s classes. She loves Michelle. Michelle has taught Anna about watercolors and oils, sketching, perspective, color theory, and much more. Michelle’s lessons nurtured Anna’s nascent interest in art. They also informed her other creative endeavors—everything from school projects to illustrations she makes on her own. Michelle is organized, encouraging, easy-going. We are grateful to Michelle for getting Anna excited about art and give her two big thumbs up. - GKD
Having taken Michelle Cordova's watercolor and acrylic painting workshops, I have found her teaching style very organized and comprehensive. Michelle incorporates not only theory and technique, but strongly encourages one to develop one's own approach while incorporating Michelle's vast knowledge and experience into a painter's individual development going forward. No matter what your level of painting skill, I very highly recommend Michelle's dynamic painting workshops and individual instruction. - Jim P
